  DIGITAL MARKETING

Hey guys.  Welcome to this lesson two of digital marketingmastery course.  I hope until now you have joined the Facebookgroup and also introduced yourself.  In lesson one, I gave you an overview of digitalmarketing.  In today's lesson, we will be talking about all the channels that when combined, makes up digital marketing.  Before starting with this lesson, one importantthing.  All the videos in this digital marketing courseare interconnected.  And if you are planning to become a specialistin one of these fields, then you need to go deeper than it and master it.  Also, I should mention one very important point.  Digital marketing is highly dynamic.  So you need to constantly learn new things, and apply the same.  Now, I will go through each component oneby one, and give you an overview.  The detailed explanation will be given in the later videos.  Hey guys, welcome to the lesson two of this digital marketing mastery course.  Today's video is really exciting because Iwill be giving you an overview of what you will be learning in the next few days.  Just a humble request to all of you to pleasewatch this video until the end, because I have an extremely important step that I needyou guys to do in order to learn digital marketing.  Without that step, you won't be able to learnanything.  So make sure you watch the video until thenend.  I won't make this video too long, rather addresssomething of what you can expect.  So, let's get started.  So these are the primary components of digitalmarketing.  Search engine marketing, social media marketing, search optimization, content marketing, email marketing, web analytics, conversionrate optimization and then the sales funnel.  Now, you will be able to build sales funnels only if you know the rest of the things.  Now, since you are just starting your digitalmarketing journey, I won't expect you to become an expert in all these fields.  Rather, these are very specialized fields.  So, there are jobs for just search engine marketing, there are jobs for just social media marketing.  Similarly for search engine optimization orSEO.  Similarly, for content marketing, email marketing and web analytics.  But as a digital marketer you must know all of these at least the overview of how these work.  Then later on you can find a specializationfor yourself, the one that interests you the most.  Get specialized in it, and become an expert in that.  Usually, there are two options.  Either you become an expert in one particular field and grow like that, or secondly you can get a good level of understanding in all these fields and become a digital marketing manager.  Where you'll be handling all the people of various domains.  So, let's start with search engine marketing.  Now, I am sure that all of you must have searchedsomething in Google search engine, right?  Like the Valentine's week is going on, soeither you're a boy or a girl, you might have searched on Google for some, like, "giftsfor boyfriend" or "gifts for girlfriend".  So, if you are a guy like me who likes creativity, then you might have searched on Google like "gifts for girlfriend..." etcetera, etcetera, right?  So, you must have seen a lot of ads on Google.  Like here I'll show you the query "buy mobile".  So, boss of these listings are ads.  "Get New Phone with Visible" and "Cell Phones:New Mobile Phones..." As you can see the word here, "Ad".  So, these two are ads, and these are the organicresutls.  So, let's say if you're a new business.  You've just opened up your website.  Then you won't be able to rank yourself on the number one position.  Because Flipkart has done a lot to get thisnumber one position.  So, to drive traffic to your website, you need to purchase Google Ads.  So, that you can instantly get yourself in the number one or number two position.  You can do this using Google AdWords.  So you can pay money to Google to get rankedin the number, one or number two result depending on the quality score of your ad.  So, this is what search engine marketing is.  Learning the art of running good Google ads that actually make money for the business.  So, it might look simple that you just haveto find the keywords and start the ad, but honestly it is not that, simple.  It's a complicated field where you have to learn a lot of things.  The optimization, the right keywords, and there are so many strategies in that.  We will be covering all of that in the GoogleAdWords video.  You must have seen that I am only talking about Google AdWords.  Because there are other search engines aswell, like "Bing" and "Yahoo", etc.  But since google is dominating the market,so when I'm referring to search engine marketing, I'm referring to Google AdWords.  But yes, you can even run "BIng Ads" and "YahooSearch Ads" as well.  Now, most of you must only know about socialmedia marketing, because for this digital marketing course we are targeting the collegesstudents and people in the age bracket of 18 to 25. So, you must be using "Facebook", "Instagram" or maybe the  new apps like "TikTok" or "Musicaly".  So, all these emerging social media channels, they have huge, huge audience.  Like "Facebook" has multiple billion people on their channel.  Similarly, "Twitter" has their audience.  And now people are moving from "Facebook"rather to "Instagram".  Now, "Instagram" is the new trend of the newsocial media 2019. And whenever there's a huge audience, there are opportunities for advertising.  So, this is where social media marketing comes into play.  Now, social media marketing refers to theprocess of gaining traffic or attention through social media sites.  Now, there are two types of social media marketing, first is organic and secondly is paid.  Now, "Facebook" is a massive advertisementchannel.  Like the link in this free digital marketingcourse.  Majority of you must have seen our ad on Facebook.  It could have been a video ad, it could havebeen an image ad, but we are really focusing on "Facebook" for the marketing of this digitalmarketing course.  So, social media marketing is really effectivewhen your target audience is competitively younger, because you are able to reach a hugeaudience.  Also, social media marketing has various worldangle.  Like when we talk about "Instagram", we have"Instagram Influencer".  So, we can hire few influencers and you marketthrough them or we can also grow organically.  But primarily, when we talk about social mediamarketing, we are looking for more engagement, we are looking to drive more customers andprimarily we'll be focusing more on "Facebook Ads".  Because that is a channel that is extremely popular and gives amazing results.  So, we'll be learning the ins and outs of Facebook Ad, in the future lesson, but yes, I'll be also going through Instagram, specifically because that is a channel that will definitely grow in the coming years.  So, I have a video specifically dedicated forInstagram.  And yes, the video is dominating 2019 andalso in the coming years, YouTube will uh... become the big boss of media marketing.  So, we will be talking about how to starta channel, optimize the channel, how to gain subscribers, how to increase watch time, andeven uh... YouTube Ads.  Now, let's talk about my favorite channelthat is Search Engine Optimization, also known as SEO.  It is the process of driving traffic fromsearch engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, etcetera to your website.  Now, the best part about SEO is that the traffic is free.  Like this example we took for search enginemarketing, like "buy mobile".  These two are ads.  But the first result here is of Flipkart.com"Mobile Phones" too.  Now, Flipkart does not have to pay Google to rank here.  Let's say ten thousand people searched thekeyword "buy mobile" daily on Google.  The average click for the first result is somewhere close to 60 to 80 percent.  So, let's say that 70 percent of the peopleclick on the first result here.  So, Flipkart is driving seven thousands ofdaily free traffic.  So, all the people who buy the mobile fromFlipkart after going from Google search results, that is profit for Flipkart.  Without even paying for the customer acquisitioncost.  Like, whenever you are running Facebook Adsor even when you're running the SEM.  Like the search engine marketing ads.  Here, you have to pay money to Google.  Whenever someone clicks here, let's say weclick here.  Since I clicked on this ad, V's'ble had to pay money to Google.  So, that is the power of search engine optimization.  Once your article starts ranking on Googlesearch engines, you'll be driving free traffic and all the money you make after the traffic, visit you website that will be a profit.  So, that is the reason I focus a lot on searchengine optimization.  I'll be sharing all my techniques on how Irank my website on Google search results, number one position.  So make sure you watch the SEO lessons aswell, in the future videos.  So primarily, SEO divided into three primary categories:"Black Hat SEO", "White Hat SEO" and "Gray Hat SEO". All these will also be discussed in the futurelessons. Now, content marketing has been extremely popular from the last few years now  . Because the customer acquisition model has changed. Content marketing is a very strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and a clearly defined audience to drive profitable retain customer action. Now, this definition might have sounded verycomplicated, but  in simple words, content marketing is all about creating content, so that you can provide value to your prospective customer. So, let's say, in my case, I am teaching digitalmarketing. Now, you guys are consuming this free contentand some of you might also  be liking the content. Some of you might like my approach of teaching. So, if in the future if I create a paid course, and I sell it to you guys, so you might just purchase th  e product.  Because I have already given you so much freevalue.  So much free content.  So, that is the power of content marketing.  Giving value to your customers, or ratherprospective customers, and showing them the benefits of joining your services.  If it's a SAS product, software aware service, then I can give them a free trial, I can give them comprehensive blog post, I can give themfree video course.  Similarly, if I am an ecommerce company, I can create wild content, top ten listical articles and then drive people to the website.  So there are numerous ways of doing contentmarketing.  And especially in the last few years, and also in the coming years, content marketing will be extremely beneficial for businesses to drive customers.  So, we'll be talking all about this in the content marketing module, where I'll also have many case studies for you.  Now, let's talk about email marketing.  Another very important channel, and another channel, which I really love.  Honestly, in India, specifically email marketing is not that popular.  Companies are using it but primarily the bloggerand indie influencers are not using email to communicate with their audience.  I'm a strong believer of email marketing, especially in the affiliate website that I've shown you the analytics for that.  Email marketing is also forming a big chunk of the revenue.  Take the case of this digital marketing course.  How am I delivering you the lessons?  I am giving you all the lessons through email, right?  So, for me, email marketing becomes extremely important for my business.  So, email marketing is not just uploading a list of people to send to and spam them.  It's much more complicated than that.  You also have to use specific tools, you also have to know the style of writing the emails, creating trip sequences and all.  So, all that will be discussed in the emailmarketing module.  So, make sure you watch that video as welluntil the end.  Web analytics is the process of analyzingthe behavior of visitors to a website.  So, I will be showing you the process of webanalytics and how to use analytics for your advantage in the analytics module.  Now, the sales funnel is an extremely important part for any business.  Because the ultimate goal of a business, to use digital marketing, is to drive sales, to make profit, to sale their products or services.  To create sales funnel, you have to have theknowledge of a comprehensive digital marketing approach.  You need to know all the work details of digitalmarketing in order to create a profitable and a successful sales funnel.  An idle sequence of events someone goes throughto go from traffic to repeat customer is the whole essence of sales funnel.  It's a system that adds and removes barriers for someone to become a customer or a repeat customer when it's appropriate.  Let's say Flipkart is selling mobiles.  So, they might even show the advertisement on Facebook, so you might be browsing the timeline and then you suddenly see an ad fromFlipkart.  So, you were not planning to visit Flipkart, you might not even know about the new mobile launch, but in the ad, you might see a newphone, so you'll click on the ad, you'll visit the website and you might  even purchase.  This funnel has four important steps: awareness, interest, decision, action.  Now, this might sound very complicated, but in simple steps, consider yourself as a customer and think through the journey as a customer to buy a product.  So, first of all, you need to make the customeraware of the product.  Like, in my case I am giving you everythingfor free, the free digital marketing course.  So, first of all, you might have seen my Facebook advertisement or any other banner advertisement on any of the website, right?  So, that is the awareness section.  I'm getting your attention, because you don't know me, you don't know who Ankur Aggarwal is, you don't even know about my existence.  So, first of all, I need to make you aware.  Second, is to grab your interest.  Now, I am teaching everything for free.  Now, this course is sold by various institute for around 60,000 to 70,000 rupees.  Now, I am giving everything for free because I have an experience of seven plus years.  Now, this for a customer is interesting.  Because they don't have to pay any money, and they are adding a very important, and a very unique skill in their resume.  Now, comes the decision.  Now, you're in my learning page where I'mtelling you that I am giving this free course and these are the benefits, etcetera, etcetera...and I'm asking you for your email address.  So, you have a decision to make.  Either you can close the tab, or you can thinkabout it, look at the benefits of digital marketing and you might even enter your emailID.  Now, if you enter your email ID, that will become an action.  You took an action.  So, for me, my sales funnel is, first making you aware of my existence, about my offer.  Then getting your interest, helping you make the decision of joining the digital marketing course, and making you take the action of entering your email ID.  It's a very simple sales funnel because, honestly, this is not exactly a sales funnel because I'm not selling you anything.  Everything is free in this case.  Similarly, you can correlate it with any product-owning company or a service-based company.  First, they have to grab the attention or the awareness, then the interest, then the decision and then making the people buy theirproduct or service.  The more expensive the product, the longer and more complicated the sales funnel will be.  Because it's harder to get someone to pay.  All of these might sound confusing, but trustme it's not.  Just keep watching the lessons, ask all yourdoubts in the comment sections below, or even in the Facebook group.  And soon you will become a digital marketingpro.  Another important area is the conversion rate optimization.  This is a moderate concept in digital marketingbut a very important one.  Conversion optimization helps you in gettingmore out of your funnel.  Like in the last case when it cost more in the sales funnel.  I'll again take this example here.  So, here we have a landing page of the freedigital marketing course.  Let's say a hundred people visited this page.  And out of those hundred people, let's say30 people put their email ID here and subscribe for the course.  If I can get 50 people to subscribe for the same course instead of 30, then for the same cost, I am getting more benefit, right?  Because I am already spending money to acquirethose hundred visitors.  So, if more people are entering their emailID that's a better conversion rate for me.  So, this is where conversion rate optimization comes into play.  So here you must have seen this exit pop-up.  After some time, this pop-up opens up.  So this helps in getting a better conversionrate optimization, getting more email subscribers.  So, this is a tactic for conversion rate optimization.  Similarly, there are many different tacticsused to increase the conversion rate of a learning page, or a product page, or a salespage.  In an essence, CRO is all about percentage of people going from one stage of the funnel to the next stage.  Now, CRO can drastically affect the performance of your funnel.  Because for the same expense, you'll be making more money from your funnel.  And CRO is all about A/B testing.  A/B testing is when you test two different variants and see which one is performing better.  I'll mention again that this all might soundconfusing, but once you get the hang of it, it will be a piece of cake.  Now, there are other modules for digital marketing as well, like ecommerce marketing, video marketing, influencer marketing.  We will be covering all of these in our module.  So don't worry, you will become a pro digitalmarketer by the end of this course.  Now, this is the important step I was telling you about in the start of the video.  In my seven plus years of digital marketingexperience, one thing I can tell you is that I have learned digital marketing not by watching videos or not by reading articles, yes, I have done that as well.  I have watched a lot of videos, read thousandsof articles.  I have bought expensive courses, just to learn what I am teaching you today.  But the real learning came, when I started implementing everything.  The best way to learn digital marketing, isthrough practice.  I'll keep mentioning the same line again and again in the future videos as well.  But trust me guys, if you have taken this first step of learning digital marketing, make sure you don't waste your time by justlooking at the videos, but rather implement, rather take action.  Digital marketing is not like a book whereyou just mock up things and clear the exam.  Here it is everything about practice.  You need to implement everything I tell youin all the videos.  And the first step, is to start a blog.  Practical knowledge is hundred times more powerful than compared to theoretical knowledge.  You'll watch the video, you'll think thatyou have understood everything, you'll be able to implement it when the time comes.  But trust me guys, I used to feel the same, I used to think the same.  But I only succeeded when I started implementing everything.  And the best decision of my life was to startblogging.  I still remember the day, I was doing my job,my first salary was carried to my bank account and my first online purchase was a hosting.  Some of you might not even know what a blogis, or how to start a website, how to start a blog, how to even create a passive incomethrough a blog.  All these will be taught to you in the nextvideo.  But I just want you to understand that if you want to learn digital marketing, if you want to become good at digital marketing, you'll have to practice.  And the best way to practice is to implement everything on your blog.  So, in the next video, I'll be telling youall about how you can start your own blog, how you can follow your passion and create a blog about what you like.  Also, having a blog in your resume, really easily help you out in starting out.  And don't just start the blog just because you want to practice.  You can also create income source from thesame blog.  Just few minutes ago, I showed you the example of one of my websites.  Which was driving 1.2 million visitors.  Almost 100,000 people every month.  And from that I was making more than $30,000 every month.  Now, I am not saying that you'll be able to achieve the same results because for me it took many years.  But at last I was able to achieve it.  Because I had a vision.  Because I started my first blog.  So, whatever I teach you in the future videos,in the future lessons, you can implement everything on your blog and then you can become a masterat it.  The best part about digital marketing is thatyou don't have to go to an offline institute to get the certification and all.  You can learn everything, just through yourcomputer or a laptop and an internet connection.  This course is completely free.  I am giving you everything for free be thevideos, the checklists, the community, and everything is free.  I know many institutes out there who are charging30,000 to 60,000.  I even know a few institutes that are charging100,000+ for the same course.  I know students are unaware that everything can be learned for free.  Even paying the money is fine, but I have seen the curriculum, I have seen the topics they are teaching.  See, the thing is that digital marketing is highly dynamic.  Everything is changing so fast.  Like a few years earlier, Facebook was everything.  But today people are moving away from Facebookmore towards the Instagram.  Similarly, the tools are changing, the consumerperceptions are changing, the way to drive customers are changing.  And the curriculum has been the same for theseinstitutes.  They are still teaching what was working in2007 or 2010. But those things don't work anymore.  So, don't waste your money on, all these expensivecourses.  Rather the best way to learn digital marketing is to start a blog.  So, tomorrow I'll be telling you everything about what is a domain name.  What is a hosting?  How to start your blog.  I just have one small request for you.  Make a list of all the things that make youhappy.  Like, in my case, it could have been salsa, it could have been guitar, it could have been digital marketing.  So what is your passion, what makes you happy?  It could be cooking, it could be guitar, it could be dogs, cats, anything.  Because tomorrow, I'll be telling you how you can start your first blog, about the passion, about the things that you love.  So, I'll see you in the next lesson.  I hope you understood all the components.  Don't worry we will be covering the detailed explanations in the future videos.  So now, let's talk about how to learn digitalmarketing.  Starting a website is the most important step in learning digital marketing.  All the knowledge I have, all the expertise I have, is all because I implemented everything on my website.  Even today, I am constantly learning.  And whatever, I learn, I make sure that Ipractice it on my website.  Because practical knowledge is what defines digital marketing.  My biggest regret is taking too much time in starting my first website.  I give all my students the advice on starting a blog or website as soon as possible.  As it reflects positively on their resume.  Whenever I'm hiring a digital marketingperson for a job in my company.  If they have a blog or a website, their chances are ten times more compare to other candidates.  Every company needs a person who has practical experience and not just bookish knowledge.  Practical is the way to learn digital marketing.  Tomorrow, I'll teach you about what is a domainname, how to start a website and other basic stuff.  Trust me, it's super easy.  And you will be ready with a website in notime.  But make sure you're ready with your niche.

How to get digital marketing jobs

Hey guys, this is the article of our digitalmarketing mastery course.  I'm really excited for you.  In this video we will be covering how to get a high-paying digital marketing job.  So let's get into the video.  Hey guys, welcome back.  And first of all congratulations for completing this digital marketing mastery course.  This will be our final lesson, lesson 20 on how to get digital marketing jobs.  But before that, I hope you have practice everything that I have taught you until now.  I'm sure you have a blog up and runningand you are also actively participating in our Facebook group.  Also, this is not the end.  We'll be coming up with many free coursesin the future and you'll be notified through email.  So now let's back in the lesson on how to get digital marketing job.  So while taking this course, you are supposed to get a digital marketing job and I have some tips for you.  So let’s start with the different types of digital marketing jobs.  So obviously at the top, there is the digitalmarketing manager, who's supervising everything.  The complete digital marketing of a company or a business.  Then we have SEO executives, social mediamarketing, search engine marketers, email marketers, content marketing, inbound marketing and optimizing conversion rate.  Don't worry you don't have to think bignow, you just have to master one of the categories.  So if you like social media marketing, thenyou can get your expertise in social media marketing.  And the move on to search engine marketingand then to email marketing.  So it will take some time, and you have to move step-by-step, yes the ultimate goal is becoming a digital marketing manager but beforethat you have to master all these different work details.  If you're just starting out a career in the digital marketing job, then you can get an expertise on one of these domains and justget started.  You can either be an SEO specialist, emailmarketer, mobile marketing, you can even go to social media marketing and content marketing as well.  You can start your digital marketing career by learning any of these skills.  You can either be SEO specialist, you canbe an email marketer, you can become a content marketer or even social media marketer.  Even the interviewer won't be expecting you to know all these skills.  You just have to master a few of them, or even one of them.  So let’s say you have an interest in SEO, then you should know everything about SEO.  From the on page SEO, off page SEO, backlinks, anchor texts, link distribution and domain authority.  So if you're going with only one skill, make sure you know a lot about it.  So let’s start with how to write a digitalmarketing resume.  One of the biggest mistakes that people makewhile sending their resume, while updating their resume is that they send the same resume to all the companies.  Let’s say you have your expertise on SEOand social media marketing.  But if you are applying for an SEO relatedjob, then you have to stress out your SEO-related capabilities.  Maybe the SEO-related projects that you havedone.  Or any SEO strategies that you must have applied on your website, which might have given any kind of result so more like a case study on your own website.  And then you have to think from the employer's point of view.  If he’s looking for an SEO candidate, hedoesn’t really care whether you know anything about social media marketing or not.  Also you have to understand that the personwho is taking the interview, he won't be going through each line of your resume.  He’d be first scanning your resume and looking for some keywords related to the job profile.  So if you are applying for an SEO relatedjob, I'll be looking into some SEO-related projects, maybe the internship that you havedone, any kind of project that you have done.  So make sure that you project your skillsand you project according to the requirements.  After taking almost 100+ interviews for various digital marketing related jobs for my company and other companies.  Here are a few things you have to focus on your digital marketing resume.  First of all is the formatting.  Make sure your resume is following a correctformat.  It has proper bullet points, proper indentation, there's no grammatical mistakes, also the length of your resume should not go more than one page.  As an interviewer, we are looking for practicalexperience.  So if you've done any kind of internshipor employment, make sure you point it out exactly.  Also mention your job responsibility in yourprevious company, or your internships and what kind of projects you were involved in.  This will give a good idea to the interviewerabout your capabilities.  Instead of focusing more on what you did on your college, or your extracurricular activities, rather focus on the job requirement.  So if the job is about social media marketing, what exactly have you done that is related to social media marketing.  So there are various places in finding digital marketing jobs.  If you are looking for a digital marketingjob, having an internship in your resume will greatly enhance your chances of getting a job.  As a company in hiring you, no one wants to spend money in training you.  So if you've done an internship, you already have some practical experience.  So that's a benefit for the company.  To find internships, you can sign up for various websites like Internshala, Letsintern and Hellointern.  Also you'll find digital marketing industries booming a lot, so you'll find a lot of internship opportunities.  But before finalizing an internship, make sure to watch the kind of work that you'll be doing in the internship.  Try to get into an internship where you'll get a comprehensive view of the digital marketing umbrella.  You're not only specific to a domain likeSEO, but rather getting an overview of all different domains like social media marketing, paid ads, etc.  Also don't treat your internship as a way to get a certificate.  Rather, proactively work in it.  Learn the keys, those that are required inworking a digital marketing job.  Getting a job should not be your only focus.  You should rather invest in increasing yourknowledge, increasing your expertise, increasing your practical experience or various digitalmarketing strategies.  Once you're done with your internship thenyou can post your resume on various websites like Naukri.com, Linkedin.com, Indeed, Timesjobs,Angel.co.  There's so many different websites where you can find a digital marketing job.  The one I recommend is Naukri.com since itis India's largest job portal.  One thing for Naukri.com is to regularly login to your profile, also make sure your profile is complete, so add your key skills, completeyour profile- the more complete your profile is, the more chances of your profile beingfound.  Apart from that, you can go directly to companies'websites.  Apart from that you can also make a list of companies who hire in the digital marketing space, and then you can send them directly to their websites.  Most of these websites have a “career” section which might have email ID, to which you can send your resume.  You can also find various people working in these organizations, and ask them to refer you.  If the organization is big, they might have a referral program.  So if a person refers to you and if you get selected,he will also be awarded with some monetary compensation, so it's a win-win for bothof you.  You can also use Facebook groups to get a job.  So I made this list of all the various groups, which you can use to find a digital marketing related job.  Obviously you can download this slide andvisit all these groups, and look for digital marketing job opportunities.  So here are my 10 best steps for digital marketingjob interview.  First of all research about the company.  Don't go uninformed, take it seriously.  And create a job-worthy resume.  Don't make a resume for all the companies.  You are to first research about the company, look at their requirement, look at their job description, and then craft your resume.  As I told you earlier the interviewer willjust be scanning your resume and looking for the keywords that are related to the job profile.  So if you have those keywords in your resume, then you are more likely to get questions related to those.  I remember I was taking an interview for aSEO profile, and the guy came prepared with an SEO audit of my website.  So it had all the good points about my websiteand also the bad points about my website.  He even told me, he'll be removing all those issues from my website.  So obviously this guy was high-end.  Follow the basic interview etiquettes of smiling, dressing nicely, being a good listener, etc.  Also mention your website name in the resume.  Your website is your online asset, so make sure you mention it on your resume.  Also I hope you followed and practiced everythingthat is in this free digital marketing course on your own website, this way the interviewer will know that you don't only have the theoretical knowledge, but also the practical expertisefor that.  So these are few tips from my side of gettinga digital marketing job.  If you followed the course correctly, if you practiced everything, then getting a digital marketing job won't be a difficult task for you.  And my best wishes for you, and also we'll be coming up with many new courses in the future, thanks for being part of this freedigital marketing course.  It has been an exciting journey.

Do you want to do well in digital marketing? You need to know the valuable skill sets that everyone wants. Hi, everyone. I'm prmotivation, and Today I'm going to break down the most valuable digital marketing skills in 2021 that every company is looking for. (upbeat music) Before we get started, make sure you subscribe to this channel, and if you're on YouTube click the alert notification. Now I'm going to break down some skills. Some of them you may be good at. Some of them you may not. You don't have to learn them all, but if you learn any one of these you'll be much more valuable to be working at a company. The first skill is big data analytics. Look, there's just so much data that companies are collecting from so many different channels. You need to know how tos lice and dice that data, and more importantly, get actionable insights from it. People don't want you to just be able to slice and dice the data. As a marketer, you need to know what changes to implement to grow that business. If you can do that, you'll be way more valuable for a company. The second skill set is business intelligence. Look, marketing, the overall goal of it is to help grow a business, and there's a lot of business intelligence platforms out there, so if you knowhow to read the data, how to use those platforms, it's going to be better for you, because your KPIs, those are key performance indicators, should be tied to the growth of the business. The next skill set is content writing. Yes, there's AI and automation that can supposedly create content for you. They're not amazing yet,and creativity is priceless. So if you can be not just an amazing writer, but a writer that has creativity, and the way you get that, you just flex that muscle. Start writing once a week. You'll get better at writing, and that's more valuable. And writing is used everything in marketing, maybe not be a blog post, but it could be something like a landing page or product page. And you would think that, "Hey, writing's more for blog posts." And yes, it could be that, but you still got to convert those people on a product page to buy your product, or on a landing page to become a lead. And that's why copywriting or content writing is important. Paid ads. It's the easiest way to scale marketing. Most people raise billions of dollars from these venture capitalists and hedge funds to spend on sales and marketing. So make sure that you know how to do paid ads. If you can, that's avery valuable skill set and you need to get good at it. And what I recommend doing is check out Facebook's Ad Library. It'll show you all the other ads that people are running in your space. That way you can learn and get more creative ideas. Account management is super important. If you want to work for one of those big companies, they give you all those stock options like PayPal, or Facebook. or Google, you need to know how to work with ad agencies. Probably not as much Google, but the other ones definitely. And the reason being is when you work with ad agencies you will be able to deal with the resources that you're outsourcing and you can better manage them to get your company that you're working for better results. Next one is UX. Look, marketing isn't just about, "Hey, someone's coming to the page and I got to convert them." A lot of it is user experience. I'm not talking about from a design perspective. I'm talking about is someone getting what they're looking foras quick as possible. That's optimizing for a user experience. And as a marketer you control that. You may not control the design of the page, but you can put certain copy or images higher than others to get people what they're looking for as quick as possible. And the last skill set that you need to know going for anujpr.blogspot.com and the future is automation. AI, machine learning. I know machine learning is not automation, but still automation, AI,and even machine learning, they're important aspects of marketing, and without them you can't scale and do as well in the future. And companies will always give you a budget constraint, even if you're working for the largest corporations. So with automation, here's what's cool. You can end up getting more done with less people.

Planning

Digital marketing planning is a term used in marketing management. It describes the first stage of forming a digital marketing strategy for the wider digital marketing system. The difference between digital and traditional marketing planning is that it uses digitally based communication tools and technology such as Social, Web, Mobile, Scannable Surface. Nevertheless, both are aligned with the vision, the mission of the company and the overarching business strategy.

Stages of planning
Using Dr Dave Chaffey's approach, the digital marketing planning (DMP) has three main stages: Opportunity, Strategy, and Action. He suggests that any business looking to implement a successful digital marketing strategy must structure their plan by looking at opportunity, strategy and action. This generic strategic approach often has phases of situation review, goal setting, strategy formulation, resource allocation and monitoring.

1) Opportunity
To create an effective DMP, a business first needs to review the marketplace and set 'SMART' (Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) objectives. They can set SMART objectives by reviewing the current benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs) of the company and competitors. It is pertinent that the analytics used for the KPIs be customized to the type, objectives, mission, and vision of the company.

Companies can scan for marketing and sales opportunities by reviewing their own outreach as well as influencer outreach. This means they have competitive advantage because they are able to analyse their co-marketers influence and brand associations.

To seize the opportunity, the firm should summarize its current customers' personas and purchase journey from this they are able to deduce their digital marketing capability. This means they need to form a clear picture of where they are currently and how many resources they can allocate for their digital marketing strategy i.e. labor, time, etc. By summarizing the purchase journey, they can also recognize gaps and growth for future marketing opportunities that will either meet objectives or propose new objectives and increase profit.

2) Strategy
To create a planned digital strategy, the company must review their digital proposition (what you are offering to consumers) and communicate it using digital customer targeting techniques. So, they must define online value proposition (OVP), this means the company must express clearly what they are offering customers online e.g. brand positioning.

The company should also (re)select target market segments and personas and define digital targeting approaches.

After doing this effectively, it is important to review the marketing mix for online options. The marketing mix comprises the 4Ps – Product, Price, Promotion, and Place. Some academics have added three additional elements to the traditional 4Ps of marketing Process, Place, and Physical appearance making it 7Ps of marketing.

3) Action
The third and final stage requires the firm to set a budget and management systems; these must be measurable touchpoints, such as the audience reached across all digital platforms. Furthermore, marketers must ensure the budget and management systems are integrating the paid, owned, and earned media of the company. The Action and final stage of planning also requires the company to set in place measurable content creation e.g. oral, visual or written online media.

After confirming the digital marketing plan, a scheduled format of digital communications should be information  throughout the internal operations of the company. This ensures that all platforms used fall in line and complement each other for the succeeding stages of digital marketing strategy.

Understanding the market
One way marketers can reach out to consumers, and understand their thought process is through what is called an empathy map. An empathy map is a four-step process. The first step is through asking questions that the consumer would be thinking in their demographic. The second step is to describe the feelings that the consumer may be having. The third step is to think about what the consumer would say in their situation. The final step is to imagine what the consumer will try to do based on the other three steps. This map is so marketing teams can put themselves in their target demographics shoes. Web Analytics are also a very important way to understand consumers. They show the habits that people have online for each website. One particular form of these analytics is predictive analytics which helps marketers figure out what route consumers are on. This uses the information gathered from other analytics and then creates different predictions of what people will do so that companies can strategize on what to do next, according to the people's trends.

Consumer behavior- the habits or attitudes of a consumer that influences the buying process of a product or service. Consumer behavior impacts virtually every stage of the buying process specifically in relation to digital environments and devices.
Predictive analytics- a form of data mining that involves using existing data to predict potential future trends or behaviors. Can assist companies in predicting future behavior of customers.
Buyer persona- employing research of consumer behavior regarding habits like brand awareness and buying behavior to profile prospective customers. Establishing a buyer persona helps a company better understand their audience and their specific wants/needs.
Marketing Strategy- strategic planning employed by a brand to determine potential positioning within a market as well as the prospective target audience; involves two key elements: segmentation and positioning. By developing a marketing strategy, a company is able to better anticipate and plan for each step in the marketing and buying process.

Digital marketing Developments and strategies

 Digital marketing Developments and strategies

As digital marketing is dependent on technology which is ever-evolving and fast-changing, the same features should be expected from digital marketing developments and strategies. This portion is an attempt to qualify or segregate the notable highlights existing and being used as of press time.[when?]

Segmentation: More focus has been placed on segmentation within digital marketing, in order to target specific markets in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer sectors.
Influencer marketing: Important nodes are identified within related communities, known as influencers. This is becoming an important concept in digital targeting. Influencers allow brands to take advantage of social media and the large audiences available on many of these platforms. It is possible to reach influencers via paid advertising, such as Facebook Advertising or Google Adwords campaigns, or through sophisticated sCRM (social customer relationship management) software, such as SAP C4C, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage CRM and Salesforce CRM. Many universities now focus, at Masters level, on engagement strategies for influencers.
To summarize, Pull digital marketing is characterized by consumers actively seeking marketing content while Push digital marketing occurs when marketers send messages without that content being actively sought by the recipients.

Online behavioral advertising is the practice of collecting information about a user's online activity over time, "on a particular device and across different, unrelated websites, in order to deliver advertisements tailored to that user's interests and preferences. Such Advertisements are based on site retargeting are customized based on each user behavior and pattern.
Collaborative Environment: A collaborative environment can be set up between the organization, the technology service provider, and the digital agencies to optimize effort, resource sharing, reusability and communications. Additionally, organizations are inviting their customers to help them better understand how to service them. This source of data is called user-generated content. Much of this is acquired via company websites where the organization invites people to share ideas that are then evaluated by other users of the site. The most popular ideas are evaluated and implemented in some form. Using this method of acquiring data and developing new products can foster the organization's relationship with its customer as well as spawn ideas that would otherwise be overlooked. UGC is low-cost advertising as it is directly from the consumers and can save advertising costs for the organization.
Data-driven advertising: Users generate a lot of data in every step they take on the path of customer journey and brands can now use that data to activate their known audience with data-driven programmatic media buying. Without exposing customers' privacy, users' data can be collected from digital channels (e.g.: when the customer visits a website, reads an e-mail, or launches and interact with a brand's mobile app), brands can also collect data from real-world customer interactions, such as brick and mortar stores visits and from CRM and sales engines datasets. Also known as people-based marketing or addressable media, data-driven advertising is empowering brands to find their loyal customers in their audience and deliver in real time a much more personal communication, highly relevant to each customers' moment and actions.
An important consideration today while deciding on a strategy is that the digital tools have democratized the promotional landscape.

Remarketing: Remarketing plays a major role in digital marketing. This tactic allows marketers to publish targeted ads in front of an interest category or a defined audience, generally called searchers in web speak, they have either searched for particular products or services or visited a website for some purpose.
The new digital era has enabled brands to selectively target their customers that may potentially be interested in their brand or based on previous browsing interests. Businesses can now use social media to select the age range, location, and interests of whom they would like their targeted post to be seen. Furthermore, based on a customer's recent search history they can be ‘followed’ on the internet so they see advertisements from similar brands, products, and services, This allows businesses to target the specific customers that they know and feel will most benefit from their product or service, something that had limited capabilities up until the digital era.

Online methods used to build brand awareness

Online methods used to build brand awareness

Digital marketing strategies may include the use of one or more online channels and techniques (jai: motivationchannel) to increase brand awareness among consumers.

Building brand awareness may involve such methods/tools as:

Search engine optimization (SEO)
Search engine optimization techniques may be used to improve the visibility of business websites and brand-related content for common industry-related search queries.

The importance of SEO to increasing brand awareness is said to correlate with the growing influence of search results and search features like featured snippets, knowledge panels, and local SEO on customer behavior.

Search engine marketing (SEM)
SEM, also known as PPC advertising, involves the purchase of ad space in prominent, visible positions atop search results pages and websites. Search ads have been shown to have a positive impact on brand recognition, awareness and conversions.

33% of searchers who click on paid ads do so because they directly respond to their particular search query.

Social media marketing
70% of marketers list increasing brand awareness as their number one goal for marketing on social media platforms. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube are listed as the top platforms currently used by social media marketing teams.

Digital marketing Brand awareness

 Digital marketing  Brand awareness

One of the key objectives of modern digital marketing is to raise brand awareness, the extent to which customers and the general public are familiar with and recognize a particular brand.

Enhancing brand awareness is important in digital marketing, and marketing in general, because of its impact on brand perception and consumer decision-making.
“Brand awareness, as one of the fundamental dimensions of brand equity, is often considered to be a prerequisite of consumers’ buying decision, as it represents the main factor for including a brand in the consideration set. Brand awareness can also influence consumers’ perceived risk assessment and their confidence in the purchase decision, due to familiarity with the brand and its characteristics.”
Another Content Marketing Institute survey revealed 89% of B2B marketers now believe improving brand awareness to be more important than efforts directed at increasing sales.

Digital marketing New non-linear marketing approach

om shanti : motivational speaker

Digital marketing New non-linear marketing approach

Nonlinear marketing, a type of interactive marketing, is a long-term marketing approach which builds on businesses collecting information about an Internet user's online activities, and trying to be visible in multiple areas.

Unlike traditional marketing techniques, which involve direct, one-way messaging to consumers (via print, television, and radio advertising), nonlinear digital marketing strategies are centered on reaching prospective customers across multiple online channels.

Combined with higher consumer knowledge and the demand for more sophisticated consumer offerings, this change has forced many businesses to rethink their outreach strategy and adopt or incorporate omnichannel, nonlinear marketing techniques to maintain sufficient brand exposure, engagement, and reach.

Nonlinear marketing strategies involve efforts to adapt the advertising to different platforms, and to tailor the advertising to different individual buyers rather than a large coherent audience.

Tactics may include:

Search engine optimization (SEO)
Social media marketing
Video marketing
Email marketing
Blogging
Website marketing
Paid search/contextual advertising
Search Engine Marketing (paid advertisement on search engines)
Some studies indicate that consumer responses to traditional marketing approaches are becoming less predictable for businesses.

What is Digital marketing

om shanti : motivational speaker

 Digital marketing

Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses internet and online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services. As digital platforms became increasingly involved in marketing plans and everyday life, and as people increasingly use digital devices instead of visiting physical shops, digital marketing campaigns have become prevalent, employing combinations of search engine optimization (SEO)  ), search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, influencer marketing, content automation, campaign marketing,data-driven marketing,e-commerce marketing, social media marketing, social media optimization, e-mail direct marketing, display advertising, e–  books, and optical disks and games have become commonplace.  Digital marketing extends to non-Internet channels that provide digital media, such as television, mobile phones (SMS and MMS), callback, and on-hold mobile ring tones. The extension to non-Internet channels differentiates digital marketing from online marketing.

BLOGGING COURSE

 BLOGGING COURSE

       Where to Begin

Now you'll actually begin the process of creating a blog! No, we are not
signing up for TypePad, Blogger, WordPress, or any other blog platform just yet.
There is a lot to consider before registering or setting up an account:
What is the name of your blog?
What are you interests?
What do you want to blog about?
Will you be the only one writing on your blog or are you part of group who
will be posting content?
What have you seen in other blogs that you like?
Do you know what you want your blog to look like?
What colors do you like?
After determining what you want to write about and what your blog should
look like, you're going to need exciting, well-written content— free of
grammatical errors—that gives your followers information they want to read,
such as a funny story, a challenge or contest, details of a current promotion,
professional advice, personal experience, or the benefits of using your services.
With that in mind, in this chapter, we also supply some writing tips!
By the end of this chapter, you'll be armed with ideas and enthusiasm, and on your way to be a blogger!

Name Your Blog
Now you get to experience what parents go through in trying to find the perfect
name! Or maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones who think of a great name on
the first try. Either way, whether it takes you a minute or a month, you need to
come up with a name for your blog. Although you can change your blog name
later, it can be a big deal on some platforms (you may lose all your images, for
example, and have to reinsert them, which is very time-consuming and not fun).
So, take the time now to think about a name, before getting started.
The name of your blog should be related to its purpose, whether it's a personal
journal, a fundraiser, a school project, or a professional blog about a service or
product you provide. For example, if you'll be blogging about yourself, you may
want to use your name. If you're using your blog for business, perhaps the blog
name should be your company name or slogan, or it might describe the type of
service you provide. Here are some examples:
My blog development business is called " anujpr"(https://anujpr.blogspot.com) which uses part of my name in the title, and indicates
what my blog and business is about (see Figure 1–1).

ANUJPR WEBSITE BLOG POST

What to Blog About

Anujpr about a name for your blog may have helped discover new ideas
to write about.  Or maybe you still haven't come up with the perfect name.  This
section may help you figure out what to write about as well as what to name
your blog.  The following ideas and creative writing tips should help you get
 started.
Write about what you know.  For example, I have a strong computer
background and currently set up blogs for people daily, generally using
Blogger or Typepad.  So it was second nature for me to write my first book
on Google Blogger.  I simply wrote what I knew.
Recount an event or experience.  In remembering a specific event or
experience, you may wish to write the entire story, but it can be even more
compelling to simply share what you gained from that experience, what you
 learned.
Share your memories of someone.  Maybe you want to dedicate a blog .
Detail your personal research. If there's a subject that fascinates you and
you want to learn more about it, start investigating it and then share that
information on your blog.
Start an argument. If you feel strongly about something going on in the
world, from healthcare reform to the slow food movement to the
overbreeding of dogs, let others know what you think, and why. Do be sure,
however, to do your research to support your point of view.
Tell your story. Use your blog as a diary to share your life—daily, weekly,
or whatever suits your fancy. Many people use Facebook for this type of
scenario, but it's just as easy to use a blog. And a blog allows you to write
more content.
While thinking about what to write, know that not all blogs are meant to last
forever. You may develop your blog for a particular purpose, say to promote an
annual event or fundraiser, and then afterward no longer need it. Some are
designed for business and will remain active as long as the company lasts and as
long as you wish to continue. You may choose to blog as a diary, a journal of
your life or someone else's, and keep it going as long as you have the interest in
sharing. You can use your blog for any purpose and for any length of time. In
any case, you should post often to keep people coming back—and to increase
visibility and appear higher in search engine results. You don't have to post every
day, though, and there are no specific rules to follow. This book is all about
blogging practices and concepts, and the tools you can use to enhance your
blogging experience and reach your blogging goals. The rest is totally up to you!
My goal is to get you blogging and enjoying it!
Some people actually have more than one blog, such as one for family and
another for a fundraiser they're running for a child's school. Or they may later
start a business and create yet another blog for that. There's no limit and the
topics to discuss are endless. I want to help you get started and unleash your
creativity.

Writing Good Content

Let's review some good writing practices. One of the reasons you create a blog is
to have lots of people follow its content. Posts make up the majority of your
blog, so there are some basic tasks you should perform regularly.

Check Spelling and Grammar

Many bloggers use Microsoft Word to write up their posts, and then copy and
paste the information into the post editor. If this is how you like to compose your
posts, don't forget to use Word's great spelling and grammar feature. However, if you compose your post from
within your blog, use the post editor's spell check option in Blogger, Typepad,
and WordPress, which you'll also find on the post editor toolbar. It only takes a
few minutes to perform and it is well worth that time to post a flawless article
that reads well. However, we all know the spell checker itself is not flawless (as
I often write “form” instead of “from” and the spell checker finds nothing wrong
with that). So, even after running a spelling and grammar check, you should
definitely reread your work before publishing.

Stay Focused

Keep each post focused on one particular topic, date, or event. You may lose
readers if your posts are too busy or contain too much information, or try to
cover too many topics at once. Besides appearing disorganized, it's too time-
consuming to read all the content, so you may lose readers—and business if your
sales pitch is at the very bottom of a lengthy post. You want to keep your readers'
attention!

Use Keywords

It's also a good idea to include keywords in your posts, in both the content and
the title if possible. This helps potential customers find you on the Internet when
they search for those keywords. For example, a landscaping company's blog
posts may include the keywords or phrases landscaping, landscape, lawnservice,
waterfalls, masonry, and the like, as well as, of course, the business name and the
town or county it's in. The ultimate goal in using keywords is to have a search
engine (like Google) rank your site on the first page or two of search results.
Although it's important to use keywords, it is equally important not to overuse
them. If you do, your site will be flagged as spam and will not show up at all on
result pages. Years ago, I downloaded free software from Apex, Dynamic
Submission (http://apexpacific.com/submission.html), and at the time it stated that
keywords should only be between 2 and 3 percent of your content. Therefore,
out of 100 words of content, you should use a keyword no more than three times.
This software is still available. However, today, 3-6 percent as a keyword ratio is
average.

English and Writing

So me few tips to share with us regarding writing blog posts. Note that the rules that apply to writing
blog posts are different and much less strict than those that apply to writing
academic or formal papers, resumes, or business correspondence. In general,
your tone is informal, relaxed, and conversational, and you speak to your blog
readers as to a friend. This is not intended to be an English 101 class, but to
review a few practices to help you write better posts:
Use a conversational tone. As previously stated, your writing should be
relaxed and informal. You don't have to worry about an editor reviewing
your work or that your sentences are structured perfectly. This book is
written in a conversational tone as I speak to you about blogging in a
friendly manner (not as your professor or English teacher).
Keep track of your tenses (past/present/future). If you're writing about the
past, keep it in the past, and the same goes for the present and future.
Nothing makes writing more difficult to follow than a jumble of tenses.
Me or I. If you are writing or speaking about yourself, use “I” as in “Billy,
Mary, and I are going to the mall.” Use “me” when you're receiving an
action, such as “Charlie gave me the game ball.” or “My mother is angry
with me for staying out late.”
Numbers. You can use either digits or words to write a number (10 or ten,
for example) in the body of a sentence, so which you use is up to you.
However, the first word or letter of a sentence should be capitalized so you
shouldn't use a number there unless you write it out (Ten).
Using commas. Unfortunately, some writers use commas to combine too
many thoughts into one sentence. It's better to use shorter, simpler sentences
than to create run-on sentences.
Its and it's. In general, “it's” is a substitute for “it is,” as in “It's cold
outside.” “Its,” on the other hand, is a form of ownership—“An elephant
uses its trunk to pick up food.”
Apostrophes. In following the rules of ownership, in most cases you would
use an apostrophe “s” such as “Heather's jacket is red with black trim.”
However, if the noun is plural, use just an apostrophe, as in “The princesses'
crowns sparkled with diamonds.”
Quotations and ending punctuation. In general, keep the period, question
mark, exclamation point or other punctuation inside the quotation marks.
While blogging, chances are you won't use many direct quotes that require
quotation marks, but if you are specifically quoting someone else's work,
you should certainly credit them in some way (remember the saying “give
credit where credit is due”).

Proofreading. In addition to using a spelling and grammar checker, be sure
to proof read your work. If you inadvertently use the wrong word, but it's a
real word, chances are good that neither the spell checker nor the grammar
checker will pick it up. So don't forget to reread your work before posting.
It's even better to have someone else read your work!

Blog Design

What do you want your blog to look like? Have you seen other blogs that you
absolutely love? Or totally dislike? In the next chapter we'll cover Blog Layout
and Design, and later in we'll focus on Advanced Blog Design. So
take some time now to start thinking about what you want your blog to look like.
What colors do you like?
Have you seen sites you like? What do you like about them?
Color
Font
Layout
Organization
Do you want a blog that looks and acts like a traditional web site?
Do you like tabs across the top?
All of this is important to note. You want your blog, whether for personal or
business use, to reflect you, your personality, and your likes. For example, on my
blog, I use shades of blue, as blue is easy on the eyes and is used by many
corporate sites. However, I keep it fun with the waves down the sides. At some
point I may switch the samples you see in the banner area, but other than that,
I'm really happy with the way it turned out!

BLOG DESIGN

In this exercise, I want you to explore the Web, looking for sites you like and
dislike, noting the attributes you find compelling or that put you off.
1. Do you know what you want your blog to look like? If so, then open up
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Publisher, Word, or any program you like to start creating a sketch. Or, use a pencil and paper instead!
2. If you really don't have any idea, go to www.anujpr.com and start looking
through the lists of blogs on all different topics. You'll find tons of
interesting blogs, and that will give you exposure to lots of different designs
and layouts.

Blog Layout and Design

You've decided what to blog about and you've come up with a name that reflects
your goals. Now it's time to consider how you want your blog to look, what you
want to accomplish, what sort of mood you want to evoke. Hopefully, the
exercises in Chapter 1 gave you some good ideas and you've turned your vision
into a basic sketch.
To help you realize the vision you have for your blog, in this chapter we'll
discuss the building blocks of design. We'll start with color—what colors are
primarily used for a variety of businesses, when to use certain eye-catching
colors like red or yellow, and what kind of feeling the different colors evoke. We
will also cover the dos and don'ts of fonts and the use and misuse of images, as
well as the size of different elements (the banner, sidebar images, images in
posts, and so forth).
No matter how pretty your blog looks, if visitors can't find what they need or
find the navigation clumsy and confusing, they won't come back. So, in this
chapter we'll also consider the overall layout and organization of your blog and
its elements—where to place items in your blog and how to assist visitors in
finding posts and topics of interest.
Finally, we'll examine how different screen resolutions or web browsers can
affect how others view your blog, and we'll see how you can use free blog
templates to enhance your blog's appearance.

https://anujpr.blogspot.com website best template upload template main.

Using Color

When you're starting out, it's a good idea to take advantage of other people's knowledge of what works. Although you may love the color red, for example,
it's hard on the eyes and not recommended as the major color in your blog's
design. Blue and green, on the other hand, are most easy on the eyes, and
therefore among the most popular colors used online.
Color is a personal choice, of course, and there's nothing written in stone
about what colors you can or can't use. There are no official rules, just
recommendations and, of course, exceptions. For example, sites directed at
children often use red—it's eye-catching, exciting, and cheerful.

Layout Design Tips

Now let's consider the placement of images on your blog. Of course you want to
create a blog that is nice to look at and that portrays your business, event, or
theme. Images can help you do that. However, you do not want your blog's
design to distract your visitors from its content and purpose, and images can do
that as well.
Here's a list of popular ways images are used to enhance a blog's appearance.
( https://anujpr.blogspot.com/) shows many of them. In most cases you
would not install all of these elements, as your blog would look busy and
cluttered and, even worse, take forever to load!
Banner: this is the blog header or image that appears at the top of your
blog.
Background: this is an image that can be placed behind the text on your
blog instead of just using a color.
Postsig nature: this is a special signature at the end of a post; some people
like to use these to make a post personal, unique, and attractive.
Post Header: this is an image that can be used before the text in the Post
Title area or sit beneath the Post Title.
Post Footer: this is an image you can place between posts to act as a
separator.
Category/Sidebar Separators: these images reside in your sidebar and can
be used if you want a specific font and graphic instead of the default font
and color set in your blog's design settings.
Blog Footer: this is an image that sits at the bottom of your blog. It matches
the design of rest of the blog and may have a closing in a font that matches
the banner's font, something like “Thanks for visiting!” or “Have a great
day! Thanks for stopping by!”
Buttons: these are images that visitors can click on, such as for Online
Ordering, Email Me, Classes & Events, etc.
You can use a combination of these graphics to build a custom blog look, but
remember—if you use too many images, it takes away from your blog's content
and message. Again, graphics are meant to enhance your blog, not bury its
content. Keep it simple. More is not necessarily better. In thinking simple, a
popular trend right now is using a lot of “white” in the design, creating a very
clean and neat look.
